Chapter 72: Getting Closer

Adrian was still smiling , imagining them finally together...

-What you looking at stupid? -She said and laughed
-Nothing- he said - look when class finish i need to talk to you
-Why?- she asked
-Just something i need to tell you-Adrian said
-Tell me what? tell now- she said
-Noo when class finish
-Adrian tell now- she was curious
-Nooo , can wait , isnt that important- he said
-Arghhhhhh fine- she said

Victor couldnt stop to stare Layla

-God how long we have till this nightmare of class ends?- Layla asked
-10 mins- Nathan said
-Oh ok-

Victor were sat with the girls and now he was telling them what happened to him why he was so sick

-So Victor what happened to you??- a girl asked
-You know , i felt really sick last night because i got stomach problems , dads smoke too much and i think this is affecting not only my lungs but stomach too
-Awwww - the girl said - you need someone to take care of you , your girfriend isnt treating you good?
-my girlfriend? i'm single now- Victor said and Layla heard

But She never looked at him ,Adrian heard too

Layla tried to ignore but she couldn't

-Wow really-the girl kinda smiled -I mean is so sad-
-Nahh just some girls cant handle me they expect prince charming but that's not me or any guy in the world no one is perfect right-he said
-Yeah your right she is crazy to let you go-

On the other table
Layla was getting mad

-Layla dont let Victor annoy you-Adrian said
-Is kinda to late-Layla looked down and sighed

Victor looked at her and smiled, Adrian saw it but got quiet

The class was finally over and Victor was obvious trying to get Layla attention

-So whats your name again?- he asked to the girl
-My name is Claire- she said
-Nice name , what do you think about going out with me tonight?
-Really? but arent you sick
-Well , we could do something cool like watch a movie at my place?- he touched her hair
-Oh sure , i would love too
-Great give me your number- Victor looked at Layla and she was looking back
-Here it is- the girl gave him her number
-I will call you - he said
-I will be waiting

Layla got her bag and left the class without looking behind
Adrian thought that what Victor was doing was soo lame and he wanted to help her

-Nathan i think we should help Layla
-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- Nathan said
-Ahhh come on- Adrian begged - i might have a chance
-You dont ever-Nathan laughed
-Damn uncool dude-Adrian said
-Look they are already talking-

Victor stood infront of Layla when she was tryna get past......Everytime she moved he moved

-What you doing-Layla rolled her eyes
-Nothing I just wanna thank you-he said
-For what?-she asked
-For giving me what I was using you for-he smiled
-Wow-Layla shook her head and kinda laughed too and walked away

Victor thought 'damn why is she laughing such a weirdo any girl would get mad at that'

Nathan and Adrian then caught up to Layla when she was walking

-So why dont you hang with us-Nathan smiled
-Wow really I thought you hated me-she laughed
-Nah - Nathan said - i'm cool like that
-Well maybe i will hang out with you guys but right now im kinda feeling sick i think i will go home
-Really?- Nathan asked- because Adrian is going home too right dude?
-Me?? i mean yeah- Adrian got it Nathan's plan
-You feel sick?- she asked worried
-Kinda- he lied - our houses are close we can go home together
-Oh ok then , bye Nathan- Layla walked away
-Oh damn-Layla stopped
-What? -Adrian asked
-I cant go home now my art work needs to be finished aghh-
-Oh damn uncool-
-Yeah I hope you get better soon-Layla hugged him and took his breath away -I see you tomorrow-
-Uh why not at lunch? -
-Cause you said you were going home?-Layla laughed
-Ohhh yeh i need to go home...like now- Adrian said
-Yeah- Layla said - so have fun we might speak later byeee- Layla left
and there was Nathan and Adrian the second class  of the day already started
-Where we go now? cafeteria?
-What the hell ? you going home- Nathan said
-Cant miss school stupid , look what you done- Adrian was mad
-Me???
-Yess youuu!!- Adrian said
-Only solution is if we hide of her

Meanwhile

Layla was in the art room and there she saw Jonas
She thought 'damn I bet he will be uncool to me like always'

Layla got out her work on the table and got paints
Jonas smiled at Layla and she smiled back

-Your work is amazing-Layla said and walked over to Jonas
-Nah isnt but thanks-
-Really is it looks so realistic -she smiled
-Well ive spent ages on it hopefully I will get good mark- he smiled
-You will i'm certain-Layla walked back over to her work area
-Oh im sorry about you and Victor- Jonas said
-Well its ok I guess-she smiled and started to do her work
-Yeah the whole school already knows...
-I wonder how- she smiled sarcastically
-I dont know haha but anyways , since you are single and im allowed to talk to you , would you like to get a cup of coffee?
-Oh ok sure , i wanna skip next class , its soooo boring i always sleep
-Haha ok then lets go

There at the cafeteria , they talked loads had a laugh

-Wow was soo good to speak with you- she said
-I know right - he smiled
-Yeah so ...tell me about your love life , are you single? pimpin??- she laughed
-Single but im flirting with someone at the moment-
-Oh i see , who is this lucky girl?- she asked
-You- he said serious
-Me??? dont joke Jonas
-I'm not- he touched her hand - i always liked you

Jonas told Layla how he felt but it was so awkward that she pretended that she didnt got it

- I always liked you but i knew that when you came near Victor...you wouldnt look at me , because i know he is hotter but anyways , i guess its wasnt  meant to be...but i deeply like you , so much , i think about you all the time Layla - he held her hand
-Oh my God…..hahaha- she started to laugh – why you soo funny
-Huh?
-You don’t like me , you know if you like me Victor kill you soo- she said
-He wont kill- Jonas was serious
-Haha stop it- she touched his arm – well I will go to the arts class room , I need to do more progress with my project , so we speak later- she got up
-Ok have fun – he smiled and winked
-You too bye-

Layla walked away , wishing that for once she would have some peace

So later that day , Layla was at home alone , her Family went out to the super Market , she was like laid on bed watching TV , thinking about Victor…
‘I hate Victor , like I saw him flirting with that girl but like he only did this to try to annoy me , so pathetic…I don’t know why I care so much’

Its never easy to end an relationship , every person react in different way. Some people,  to forget their loved ones,  they decide to go out more , make new friends , travel, others get locked in their rooms and don’t leave till they feel completely empty of such feeling of loosing something special therefore Victor wasn’t trying to move on , but he was trying to get his girlfriend back , using this crazy tool called jealousy!

Victor called Claire to come over his place and spend time with him and of course that she accepted , after all , many girls of school would kill only to be with Victor.

When they were at his place , things were going a way too fast

-Victor you smell so good- Claire said staring his eyes
-You smell better beautiful- he smiled – I want to take a picture of us , to never forget about this moment
-Awww sure lets take- Claire said

Claire was really happy , because she had a crush on Victor since the first day of school. She wasn’t so close to Adrian , Chloe or Layla… she was the simple girl who no one gives attention besides her little crew but that day , Victor noticed her and he knew she wanted him only by the way she looked at him…

-You know that I kinda made something for you- Victor said-  I’m kinda romantic
-Are you??? I cant believe it- she said
-Yes I’m , check out- Victor got a plate of candies and there were many hearts – I know we just met but my heart already beats for you
-Hahaha you joking- Claire laughed hard , but she was nervous
-Trust me , I don’t say this to any- he smiled
-How come Layla left someone like you go?- she touched his beard – you are like perfect- Claire loved the bad boy style
-That’s not what Layla think , she was uncool to me , made me feel like a fool
-Like a fool? Explain- Claire sounded worried and Victor of course , took advantage and started to tell Claire about Layla , in his version…

Meanwhilee

Layla was watching tv still , eating ice cream when she got a text

‘Hey Layla ,I’m sorry to bother but I just want to know if you are ok , I got worried about you , text me when you have time  I’m bored here studying for science test lol ‘ Adrian texted her

When Layla read the word test , she freaked out , she tottal forgot , they would have a science test and she never studied…
-Shiiiit- she said
She got her phone and called Adrian



-Hey Adrian- Layla said
-Wow , you were fast – Adrian said
-Yeah because you almost made me faint- she said
-What I did?- he asked
-Test tomorrow!!! I forgot arghhhhhhhhhh- she was mad 
-Damn really? I been studying for this test since last week
-Are you serious?
-Yeah…
-Oh My God I’m dead…I think I will suggest to Mrs Jones about making the test in groups
-Haha she wont accept , because we already made one remember? So this time we do it alone
-Then I will pretend I’m sick because I know nothing about this test , I’m screwed literally
-Hmmm I can help you if you want – Adrian was dying to say this since she first said about the test
-Aw thanks but I don’t want to bother you , I bet you never studied everything and then I will bother , be a pain in the ass and I don’t want this- she said
-I don’t mind Layla , to be honest if I help you to study will be like I’m revising so will be good for both
-Serioussss???? Hahaha I’m so happy you are in my life , then I will want your help- she said excited and Adrian got warm
-Ok then , I would tell you to come here and study but my brother is here and I don’t want you guys to meet because of last night
-Oh yeah true , so you can come over , I’m alone- she said
-Alone?- For the first time Adrian thought about nasty things but he stopped himself immediately 
-Yeah , my parents decided to go shopping and left me to take care of the house
-Sounds cool
-Isnt , I got so bored , like I watched Icarly then drake and josh , then kenan and kel so yeah 
-Hahaha I loved those shows
-Me tooo anyways are you coming then?
-yeah I be there in 10 mins if you want , I just need to get my books
-Ok then , I got many sweeties and nice things to eat so it might be fun
-Yeah , I bet it will , so I’m coming
-Ok don’t be long- Layla said
-Ok see yaa

Adrian hang up the phone and started to smile , his dream was coming true. Each day more he was more closer to Layla , the girl he was actually in love. Many people said that he should give up , leave her alone because she wouldn’t ever look at him in that way but he was having his chance and slowly he was getting in there…
