Chapter 118 : Bad Day

Nathan read the text and started to laugh loud

-HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA ahhh she kills me- Nathan said
Sam looked at them and asked

-What is so funny?-
-Funny? Nothing , just Chloe farted- Nathan said
-Nathan!!- Chloe complained
-Ops sorry , at least don’t smell gurll – Nathan smiled and Chloe just rolled her eyes

Meanwhile

Layla was waiting for the owner come to speak with her about the job and then she see Chloe reply

‘They aren’t Layla , but tell me , why you care? Did you got jealous girl?’

Layla read the text and smiled , because she thought
‘ Chloe is crazy really , why she thinks that I’m jealous? Jealous of that stupid?? I honestly don’t like him….do i??’

Layla heart started to hurt…

The owner of the cupcake business came , it was a tall guy , blonde , green eyes and incredible handsome , he was young about 27 years old and with a different accent

-Are you Layla?- he asked
-Yeah it’s me- she got up
-Look , I just have 2 questions to make and then the job is yours ok?- he said
-Ok- Layla smiled
-What you really want to be in your life? What job you want to have in a couple of years from now?- he asked
-Well , to be honest , I want to be a graphic designer and run my own business
-I see and tell me are you free to work on Sundays?
-Sunday? I guess so , I really need a job Sir..
-Ok , the job is yours but you will start doing simple things , like washing the bathrooms , helping customers , I want to see if you are worth you know , so when can we start?
-Damn …I don’t know , maybe tomorrow?
-Ok tomorrow then- he smiled- welcome to The Piece of Heaven Cupcakes Shop – he smiled and so did Layla

Layla left the store soo happy , she finally got a job and the Store owner were soo nice and good looking , Layla loved ….but theres was only one problem , Would Victor allow her to work? And in case he didn’t would Layla still get the job?

Layla realized that , her parents weren’t her ‘owner’ no more , it was Victor….



She came home , tired like always , the day wasn’t easy and Victor were laid on the sofa with a pillow on his head

-Victor? – Layla laughed
-Yeah?- he said
-What are you doing??- she asked curious
-Relaxing – Victor said
-Damn lazy , you relaxed the whole day- Layla said
-I didn’t….
-Why not baby? Do you want a massage?
-Not really- Victor said still without taking the pillow of his head
-Victor , I have something to tell you , its important- Layla said
-Say it- he said
-Take this pillow off your face weirdo- she said
-No- he said
-Why not?- Layla got the pillow of his face but he held , Victor was hiding something…-Victor????
-NOO LAYLA NOOO- Layla pushed the pillow of his hands and then she understood why he was hiding

Victor got black eye, on his both eyes , his lips were cut , it signs that bleeded recently , he was too hurt

-What is this?? Who did this to you?????
-Felix..- Victor said
-Oh my God , tell me everything – Layla sat near him on the sofa

Felix , were too mad , he got soo disappointed at Victor that he decided to teach his own son a lesson , so he wouldn’t ever forget . Felix got his belt and hit Victor a lot and also punched him on the face and tummy
Victor got really hurt and he barely could walk…Felix didn’t care about his pain , all he wanted was his money back…

Later that day

Adrian and the others were finishing the project when Sam started to make the design , Adrian was near her and she was teaching him a lot of things

-She sound so snob- Chloe complained
-Do you think? – Nathan asked
-Obvious- Chloe said – I won’t hang out with her…look at her , she acts as if she was a genius but she isn’t
-Yeah…I must to agree , Layla is better uh?
-Layla is soooo much better Nathan , I regret it of doing a party and not invinting her , she is amazing friend , always helped me
-I understand , oh well , let’s text her later then and ask her if she wants to go out with us?
-Us?
-Yeah we will go out , this is becoming too cheesy look

Sam was touching Adrian lips
-I love your lips..haha-she said to Adrian

Meanwhile

Felix came back home and went to speak with Hannah

-Hey babyyy- he said
-Felix , where have you been?- she asked
-With my lovely son – he said
-Doing?- Hannah asked and Felix opened the freezer door to get a beer
-Teaching him a lesson , the best one ever , now come here I missed my baby-he said

While Felix  were having fun with Hannah , Victor barely could put his foot on the floor and Layla felt soo guilty

-Damn I don’t know why I accepted to be Ruby , like ridiculous , I wish I never went to school- Layla said
-Its ok baby , as long as you here I will feel better , to be honest , I already feel better- he smiled
-Aww good , I will run a bath for you
-Ok thanks- Victor said – soo what is the thing that you were going to tell me?
-Oh , its nothing nevermind- she said
-Nah tell me baby- Victor said and tried to sit – ouch hurts
-Victor forget it- Layla came near him and sat next to him – you are my everything and I want to give all my time and attention ok? I wont leave you ever I promise
-Why you saying this Layla? Someone flirted with you??
-No one flirted with me- she smiled and started to cry
-Why you crying? What the hell happened today? I will kill the person who made you sad
-No one made me sad Victor….no one- Layla hugged Victor tight

Layla was soo sad , she knew that right now Victor needed her and sadly she couldn’t take the job so Layla decided to reject the offer of job and wait for another one….




It was late now and everybody went home , just not Sam , she was still at Adrian’s room

-Damn is soo late- Adrian said
-I know right , can I sleep here?- she laid down his bed
-You wish haha- he joked- project got amazing
-I know right- Sam said – but oh well is time for me to go home , thanks for the amazing day again Adrian
-You welcome Sam , come on I will take you to the door
-No need- she smiled- Bye Mr Perfection – she kissed his cheek

Sam left  and Adrian got alone now. He kinda felt suffocated but he loved to spend the day with Sam and the others

‘Today was crazy , many things happened , I just got sad for Layla not being able to be part of our group , that’s so sad , I think I will inbox her on Facebook’

Adrian says: Hey Layla
I really don’t know what happened today
I don’t know why you decided to leave our group :/
But like I hope your group can do amazing xD
If you need anything , just ask me ok
Layla says : Oh thanks Adrian

Layla replied straight away and Adrian thought that was weird

Adrian says: You ok?
Layla says : Can I be honest?
Adrian says: Of course :P
Layla says : I never felt soo shit like now
Adrian says: Why?

Layla wished that she could tell Adrian everything but she didn’t had the guts

Layla says : Bad day
Adrian says: Don’t be sad
Its only a bad day , it will pass right?
Layla says : I hope so
Adrian says: Yeah :P
Layla says : So did you guys finished the project?
Adrian says: We did , I wish you never left our group
Layla says : Adrian , don’t like Sam…..please
Adrian says: Why?

Layla never replied back.



So Adrian stayed on pc , waiting for Layla reply but she didnt replied him
He decided to leave it and go to the Avatar website that he started to use and there the girl that he been talking to and he asked her to be his girlfriend said

'Heeeey , i'm sorry for not being online , i been busy buttt..... i think i got an answer for you...
* take deep breath*
Yes ...yesss i will be your girlfriend
* Hug you tight and then Kiss you Lipss Softlyyyy*
I'm sooo happy i cant wait till you come online baby'

 Adrian read that and thought ' Daaamn i totally forgot about her....should i still do it this ??'



Adrian logged off and went to do something else
He started to look through his notes for the science fair, he got really upset Layla wasnt on his team, the only opportunity to talk to Layla more but then he thought maybe this happened for a reason
'Maybe God brought Sam into my life for a reason to move on from Layla?'
