Chapter 63 : I Heard It Everything

After a couple of days it was the test day

Layla was pretty nervous because she didnt study enough to do great on that exam.

-Ahhh Chloe , i'm so scared  i dont think i will get a good grade- Layla said
-How come gurl?- Chloe asked
-Like i never studied enough you know and like i asked Adrian to do test with me and he said he would but i'm scared , because he will tell me to do the test with him and i will know nothing
-Why you never studied Layla?
-Me and Victor ...you know....we were having some fun on his bed hahaha sorry to say but damnnnn that boy is getting obsessed about banging
-Your fault- Chloe said serious
-My fault? then its my fault that i'm too hawt? haha
-Not really ,because very deep inside we all are the same
-Huh? what you mean?
-Nevermind- Chloe walked away

Layla never got it about what Chloe meant , but she didnt care , she came to the class to sit next to Adrian , since the exam would be the first thing that they would do it in that day.
When Layla came to the class ,Adrian were already there , sat next to Nathan

-Dude , i think the answer isnt haploid , because it has 2 cells not 1...- Adrian said
-Oh damn i dont know science , thank God this exam will be with a partner or else i would fail
-Morning guys- Layla smiled
-Hey Layla- Adrian smiled back
-Ready for the exam?-she asked
-Like always what about you?
-Im not , but since i will do the exam with you then i think we will rock because you know , you are the geeky one here- she touched his shoulder and Nathan raised his eyebrow
-Geeky?-Nathan said
-Yeah...
-Well hun , you will have to change your plans because i'm doing the test with Adrian- Nathan said
-What???- Adrian and Layla said at the same time

Meanwhile

Victor were about to come in the class when someone touched his shoulder

-Victor , remember me , my name is James , we studied together last year?- they shook hands
-Oh heey pal , whats up??- Victor asked
-I heard that you selling drugs , i want.. and i pay as much as you want it- James said
Victor got surprised
-Haha sure , i can sell you
-Ok pal , meet me on the break- James walked away and Victor did the same

Victor started to think with himself ' thats great , i started the day with the right foot'

Victor came to the class and saw Layla and Adrian talking...he never liked

-Will you guys do the exam together? why Adrian? you said i could do with you...- Layla said
-I did and i will- he looked at Nathan- sorry bro , but i will do with Layla
-Oh really? why dont you just say that you love her then? arghhh- Nathan got up and walked away

Victor came near them and said:

-Baby , what you doing speaking with that nerd?
-Hmm we will do the exam together- Layla said serious
-WHat the ....
-Baby dont complain , i'm gonna fail if i dont do it with him so be chilled- Layla said
-Be chilled?
-Yeah
-If i fail you fail , if you rock i rock , i thought we were a team
-Ahh Victor dont start- Layla said
-I was going to cheat and get you amazing grade - Victor said
-But i rather do with Adrian- Layla said

Adrian got serious , looking down but inside he was smilling , really happy

-Pathetic...- Victor went to find someone to do the test with him

The teacher came in the class

-Good morning class , ready for the exam?

Some students said yes , others said no , the teacher just laughed

-Well , ready or not here i come with the exam- she sang - please get your partners and lets start the exam

Layla sat next to Adrian. Victor looked at her , he was sat next to Chloe , they would do the exam together...

-Damn Victor is hating me..- Layla said
-Dont worry , sometimes , its good to be selfish and think about yourself- Adrian smiled
-Yeah..- Layla smiled back

The exam started and Layla never knew anything. Adrian noticed that the only thing that Layla would write on the exam was her own name so her said

-Get your pen, i will tell you what to write
-Oh ok- Layla said
-Or else teacher will think that you never helped me to do it
-Damn you sooo smart- she whispered and laughed
-Shh dont laugh , why you laughing stupid- Adrian said - isnt allowed
-Hahaha God- Layla couldnt stop laughing
-Laughing in innapropriaded moments uh?
-Ahhhh , i need to laugh- Layla was getting red
-Think about something else...like  hmm poo....- he said
-Hahahhahahaha- Layla were laughing sooo loud that the whole class started to look at them including the teacher
-Any problem Layla and Adrian???
-Noo teacher , Layla got bad cough- Adrian said - can she get water?
-No...no one is allowed to leave the class so no- the teacher said
-Alright- Adrian said and looked at Layla and she smiled

After a couple of hours...

The school finished that day, Adrian were in the corridor putting his books in his locker when Layla came to speak with him

-Adrian?
-Hey Layla
-Hi- she smiled- thanks for today , i'm sorry for not helping much with the exam
-Nah , you helped , you wrote what i said
-I hope i wrote right though hahaha
-Yeah....me too- he said smiling
-So like when do you think we will find out about our grades?
-I asked our teacher , she said when class finish we could find out
-Then lets try to find her? like i need to know if we got a good grade or not
-Ok then lets find her

Adrian and Layla walked down the corridors of the school to try to find the teacher .
After a couple of minutes , they found her at the Teachers room

-Hey Mrs Fitzpatrick -Adrian said
-Oh hey Adrian....Layla- the teacher said
-We want to know our grade- Adrian said
-Oh ok , it was the first exam that i made the correction..let me get the grade- the teacher said

Layla looked at Adrian , she was nervous
-Heez , i'm shaking- she said
-Haha dont ...- he said
-Look if we get a good grade i swear i will take you out tonight and make up to you for being sooo amazing to mee- she smiled
-Layla , dont say that , i think we went bad- Adrian said joking
-Shiiiiit- she said
-Haha i'm joking

The teacher came back and with a serious face she said

-Well , i'm sorry kids , but the grade wasnt that good
-Really?- Layla asked shocked ' i should of done with Victor arghhh'
-Wow....what grade did we got?- Adrian got sad
-A+
-HOLLLYYYY COWWW- Layla started to jump and she hugged Adrian - THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
-Hahaha  sorry about this trick answer , i've been watching too much Dr House...haha congrats Adrian................ and Layla??
-Yeah?
-You should always be near Adrian , besides of being an lovely boy , he is really smart , he can always help you to study and not only do the exam for you

-Adrian , no need to say anything , i know when people study for exams and i'm sure that Layla never did!!!  you guys forgot that i were an student too? anyways congrats once again

Layla and Adrian walked away..
Layla were still shocked about the exam

-Damn Mrs Fitzpatrick were hard- he said while walking
-Adrian , i dont care , WE GOT A++ WHOPPPPPP GO Adrian GO Adrian GO Adrian
-Hahaha dont make me blush- he smiled big
-I'm not hahahaha i dont know how to thank you , hmmm we should go out today , but where?
-Anywhere , get ice cream?
-Of course , yeah lets get ice cream then baby- she said

-Ops haha i got too much excited - she smiled- so lets meet at 4:00pm at the park?
-Ok then
-Ok meet you there then byeee- she kissed his cheek and walked away..

It was the best day ever to Adrian , besides getting an amazing grade he made someone really happy , which was Layla...his lover
Its like he felt that nothing could go wrong


Later that day....


Adrian was getting ready to meet Layla , he was excited , he looked at himself on the mirror about 10 times , he started to get nervous
‘Damn this isn’t even a date and I’m shaking , God , whats wrong with me , its not like she is going to be with me or kiss me….’

Meanwhilee

Layla went to the park and sat on the bunch to wait for Adrian and for her surprise , someone decided to say hello…

-Guess who is- Someone covered her eyes using his hand
-Damn….is that you Jason love?- Layla started to laugh
-Ehhhhh- Victor said and took his hands off her face- I’m surprised
-Hahaha you sooo stupid , of course that I knew that was you silly- Layla got up and hugged him
-Or you are just saying that because you don’t want me to think that you actually thought that was Jason
-Maybe- she smiled big
-What you doing here?- he asked
-Well , I ask you , what you doing here? Stalking me hun?- she asked
-Never , I just came here to get fresh air – he got a deep breath – the air is soo pure
-Bullshit- Layla said
-Yeh yeah- he rolled his eyes – tell me what you doing here

-Just tell….- he said

While Layla and Victor were talking at the park Adrian was saying bye to his mother

-Mom , I wont take long , I just need to see a friend- he smiled
-Friend? It seems you are going to a special place , is that a girl?
-Mom!!!- he said
-Ahhh son – she laughed – you think I born yesterday?
-Maybe- he joked
-Good luck in your date – she smiled and came closer
-Isn’t a date- he said
-Where is your braces?
-Upstairs , I’m not gonna use it- he said
-Aha see , you wont use it , because it’s a date , haha God bless you- she kissed his forehead
-You too mom , byeee
-Bye Adrian- His mom went to make a phone call

Adrian was really happy , after all , it was Layla who invited him to go to the park. She was like his idol , his diva , his dream girl , of course that he would be nervous and scared but he was loving the feeling….
Adrian ran because he knew he was late , he could see Layla from where he was and his heart just started to beat faster and faster therefore when he got closer , Adrian noticed that Layla wasn’t alone….
Layla was with her arms around Victor’s neck , smiling….

-Well Victor I only came here because…
-Because??
Adrian saw that Layla and Victor were talking then he got hidden behind the bush and started to listen Layla and Victor’s conversation…

-Like you know Adrian?- she asked
-Adrian?- Victor asked
-Yeah that nerd guy who is in our class , nerd glasses???- Layla trying to make Victor remember who Adrian was- the one who helped me with the exam today?
-Ohhh the loser
-Yeah he is coming here- Layla said
-Why?
-Like he made the test today and we got a A+ , that’s all I needed to show to that stupid teacher that I’m not so bad as she thinks , she will stop to annoy yeye?
-You used Adrian?
-Haha totally , that’s why I did test with him duuuh , I suck in science
-Oh I don’t even know how much me and Chloe got but oh well , good job baby- he hugged her tight
-Yep but you should go he is coming here- Layla said
-Why will I go? I stay here – Victor got serious – I remember when we went to camp , he always stared you , he looked at your body…I’m pretty sure that he likes you

-Hahahaha you're mean and I like it- he touched her cheek

Adrian was behind the bush ,sat on the grass holding his legs with tears in his eyes , feeling like nothing…he barely could breath
He was used to people call him names and bully him for his grades but the girl that he liked the most was saying the awful things ever…and Adrian was there , behind the bush, thinking about what to do….
Layla and Victor kissed and then she said:

-Now go , because I don’t want him to see you here or else he wont help me no more- Layla said
-You just worried about your grades , just relax for once , I’m the best boyfriend you could ever get and you don’t thank me enough for giving you love
-Oh here we go- Layla said
-I’m joking…after meeting him can you come to my apartment?
-I will baby love you- she said
-Love you more- he kissed her lips and walked away

Layla sat on the bunch again and looked at the time , she noticed that Adrian was taking more time that he should take , so she decided to text him

‘Where are you? I need to go home soon’

Adrian saw the text and his heart just burned in anger , he wanted to die..
He got up and walked to where Layla was..

Layla looked at him confused , his eyes were red like blood and he had a different look , Adrian was crying infront of her

-I heard everything….
-What?- Layla tried to act as if she knew nothing
-You used me….you Layla…you used me to get a grade…- Adrian said disgusted
-Adrian I’m sorry…I didn’t knew…
-No…no need to say sorry , I only helped you because you asked…
-I know , I’m so sorry , I take back everything that I said ok?

Adrian got quiet , he looked down , he wanted to cave a hole in the grass and stay there forever
He never told anyone , but Adrian always got bullied  for being smart , for having bad teeth , for being quiet and not so perfect as the other kids. Adrian grew up knowing that he was different and that he would pay a high price for that.
Layla never knew what to say or to do to make things better with Adrian , after all , she still needed him , everything was too awkward

-Look if theres something I can do for you- she touched his arm
-Go away- he said without looking at her face
-But Adrian
-GO AWAY- he screamed- I’m tired of people like you , I’m tired…..you know what , I thought you were different….of all the girls of the school , for me , you were the best…..you were perfect in my eyes , I couldn’t think anything bad about you and now I hate you….
Adrian ran away and left Layla alone…

-Adrian wait…..ADRIAAAN- she shouted. Layla felt horrible straight away but it was too late

While Adrian was running the tears dropped on his t-shirt , he was too desperate…
Layla never ran after him , she just watched him run till he disappear…Layla went home.


Adrian was soo lost , he was feeling so hurt ....the pain was too much….After running for a couple of minutes , Adrian went to this another park where kids used to play and since the park was empty , Adrian stayed there sat alone…thinking about everything….

‘Why this happened to me? Why this have to happen to me? What I did to deserve this? I’m a good boy right? Right???’Adrian started to punch himself ‘ I hate myself for being sooo slow with girls , for being a toy….people play me as if I was a COD…they have the pleasure doing this to me ….WHY I’M SO SILLY , why I had to fall in love with that girl? Who thinks I’m no one….who wouldn’t ever be me or even a friend? I’m soo smart but at time I’m failure…..God help me’
Adrian laid down on the dust tank and he hugged himself and started to cry…. When all of suddlen , someone came near him and said:
-Adrian? Are you ok?


Meanwhile

Layla went home , she was feeling really weird. When she came home her mother talked to her but Layla ignored , she just wanted to be alone…
Layla locked herself in her bedroom and started to think about Adrian , she felt so mean , she never wanted to hurt him but she did and she knew it.
Sometimes , we don’t have to be mean with people to hurt them , sometimes only the way you act can hurt someone deeply…
Layla went on computer , to try to forget about such thing and she even thought about texting Adrian saying sorry but it would help? It would make things better?
Chloe was online and she came to speak with Layla…

Chloe says : Layla
I’m soooo sad
I got an F in the test today
Layla says : What?
Omggg
Chloe says : Ikr
I’m crying the whole day
I feel soo dumb and like Victor knew nothing
It’s the second time he is doing this year and he knows nothing >=[
Layla says : Damn
Chloe says : Yeah
But you must to be happy uh
Adrian told me about you guys grade :P
Layla says : Did he?
Chloe says : yeah
he texted me alll happy lol
He is very nice isn’t??
Like I heard everyone got a bad grade

Layla realised how mean she was , she didn’t knew that Adrian was so smart and that he made her get a grade that almost no one in the class could get….

All I remember was that I said bad things about Adrian
like that he smell bad and got bad teeth

And he was behind the plants , hearing everything

Layla was feeling less guilty about everything that happened therefore she couldn’t stop to picture Adrian’s face looking at her…
She tried to look hard to Chloe , but her heart were still hurting...as if she killed someone....

Adrian got scared that someone came to speak with him there , it was cold and it was getting dark , when he looked at the person he said:

-Ashton?
-Hey Adrian , what happened to you?- he said confused – you crying?
-Nooo damn ...hmmm yeah I’m- Adrian said
-Come here buddy , give me your hand , get up- Ashton helped Adrian to get up
-Thanks – Adrian said

-Haha no , I saw you running desperated and I decided to follow
-Really? Damn- Adrian said
-I saw everything , from my window , sorry buddy but I always stalk people outside when I’m bored
-Haha serious? So you saw everything?
-Yes , even before you hide behind the bush- Ashton said
-I’m ashamed- Adrian said
-Don’t be , I don’t know what really happened but correct me if im wrong, were you going to meet that pretty girl but she cheated on you?
-Nope....not that ..... is too complicated….you don’t wanna listen
-I do , I have time….- Ashton said – lets go to this cafeteria , I pay for a hot chocolate
-Ok then- Adrian said and walked to the cafeteria.

Adrian , normally , never trusted anyone besides his family and Nathan but this time he really needed someone who could listen to him , someone that could tell him what to do...
Everybody needs someone to speak with , to tell their secrets , to share their dreams . The human being wasn’t made to be alone , ever. We need someone to trust and tell everything and don’t expect them to say anything back ,sometimes listen is the best medicine , the best solution…

Ashton took Adrian to the cafeteria and there they talked for hours and hours…Adrian lost the time , speaking with his new close friend.

-Ashton , I fell in love with the wrong girl- Adrian said
-Don’t say that- Ashton said
-Why not? She is mean ….i never thought she would be like that
-Man , you told me that before she was perfect right? Well dude , I think your heart made a choice and it was her , to be honest , don’t exist the right choice or the wrong choice….i believe we fall in love with ther right people because we always learn something…like me. I had a girlfriend who I was sure that would be my girl forever , we were soo good together , such a cute couple
-And what happened?
-She left me , she simply said , I’m tired of you and of your jokes. I want someone who can complete me and I was like but we were so good together
And she said yeah we were  but we aren’t anymore. Dude , I cried for weeks and nobody knew , I had no one to help me
-Damn I feel bad now , I'm complaining about Layla but your case is worse
-Yeah but you know what I learned? I learned that she wasn’t meant to be mine , she lost me….so you know how you must to think? You must think that Layla lost you , that you will be better without her , let life teach her what love means , when she realise that is you who she likes or how nice you were and how amazing boyfriend you could be , then….will be too late and that’s the worst revenge ever
-I agree but dude , I must to confess something , no one made me soo crazy in love like she did , I mean before I just cared about COD and Playstation and Wii but when I saw her I wanted to hug and kiss like damn I’m growing up
-Hahah trueee bro and more stuff is going to happen but listen to me , if she is meant to be yours or not , she can find 100 boyfriends that she wont ever be happy with them , because she belongs to you sooo I’m not saying for you like her and wait for her but think that maybe she is meant to be yours and when you less expect she will be in your arms

-I did…thanks I’m feeling soo much better
-I really want to be your friend , what do you think of us going out next weekend? My family has a tradicional French restaurant in town and you are invited to come and eat with me , what you think?

-yes  I will go- Adrian smiled big
-Hahaha amazing , we should go home now- Ashton suggested
-Sure lets go- Adrian said-but like maybe we could play video-game? I got x-box , wanna play at my house?
-Hmmm sure – Ashton smiled and they went to Adrian’s house.

Adrian wasn’t so depressed as before and that’s was only because of Ashton and That’s why we need friends , because they will always be there for us when we need….true friends are there for you no matter what , specially when you having a tough moment in your life

A true friend is the one who never leave you, a true friend is someone who wont ever stop to speak with you because your family is having financial problems , a true friend isn’t the one who only speak with you when is your birthday , a true friend isn’t the one who just invite you to go out when no one else wants to go out with them but a true friend is someone who suffer with you , feel your pain and never ever say goodbye…
