Chapter 71: Best Mates

Felix drove Layla home when her phone rang
Victor called her...


-Baby  hey its me, i'm sorry for leaving you , i had to runaway i hope you understand
-Yeah i do- she said
-I got a surprise for you , i'm at home- he said
-I got a surprise for you too - Layla said serious

After that night , Layla was kinda tired of date Victor she was about to ask him a break


So they continued to speak on the phone...

-Great Layla , so come home? 
-Ok i will , i will ask Felix to take me
-Thats great baby 
-Yeah so speak soon- she said
-Layla?
-Yeah?
-I love youu.- he said
-Hmm love you too Victor , bye
-Byee babyyy


Felix looked at Layla and she never said anything...he just drove.
After a couple of minutes , they finally arrived at the buliding. Layla was too anxious to speak with Victor so she went up to the apartment first....
She got the elevator and she couldn’t wait till she see Victor , she really needed to open to him
When Layla came to Victor apartment , he was sat on the sofa , just waiting for her and he made a huge surprise for his girlfriend , something that took ages to do it but he was soo glad for doing this for her that he was completely happy. He forgot about the fight at the night club , Felix or even about Layla kissing another guy…

Before Layla coming in the house , Victor transformed his bedroom in a paradise,  there was candles everywhere of his bedroom and pieces of roses all over the room. He already did this for her once but this time it was more romantic , more special.
Victor was anxious to tell Layla everything that he felt for her , its like he knew deep inside of him that she was the one so that’s why he wanted to make something different , after all , his intentions with her were much more than simple kisses.

-Hey princess- he came near her – I missed you
-Yeah I noticed  that you miss me , because when I left the bathroom with my lips still bleeding you weren’t there- she said
-Yeah I had to runaway , you understand , you said you did – he said and put his hand on her waist- damn when you became so hottiee?-
-Victor we need to talk- Layla moved fast
-Can we talk later? I got the surprise for you and I wanna show you haha close your eyes- he said
-No- she said
-Why Layla? Don’t be hard- he said confused
-Victor I cant…
-Of course you can , is just close eyes duuh- he said
-Noo , I mean , I cant do this anymore , I cant be with you- she looked in his eyes
-Why not? I forgave you for cheating on me- he said – so its cool we should have our make up sex and everything will be alright hahaha
-Victor – Layla sat on the sofa – why cant I have a normal boyfriend?
-Normal? Ahhh you saying this because of those guys from the club because…
-Victor , its over- Layla said
-No its not , you love me and i love you ,  so is not over – he said
-I’m confused , I don’t want to date a drug dealer , someone who everybody is scared , someone who tries to control me and gets me involved with drugs…I’m sick , I want peace and I will only get peace when I get away from you , I’m sorry-
-Layla…
-Goodbye Victor- Layla ran away leaving Victor alone

He got shocked , with no words to say , Victor thought that everything was fine , he didn’t knew that Layla felt like that , as if she was in jail living next to him.
He thought about going after her but it wouldn’t work out

Felix came to the apartment after 40 mins , because that would be time enough for Victor and Layla , as he thought , they would of have had  the time of their lives

So when Felix came in the apartment, no one was in the living room

-Oh I bet Victor is giving Layla a good treatment when he looked at the door of Victor’s bedroom and saw it opened. He noticed that there was silence so he decided to come in
-Oh my God Victor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Felix shouted

Victor was soo miserable and desperate about the break up that he took a crazy decision , he was sat on the window of the apartment ready to jump…

-Victor GET OUT  OF THE WINDOW RIGHT NOW- Felix got soo scared that Victor would jump
-Nooo I wont , why live??? She broke up with me- Victor said

Felix saw many bottles of vodka on the floor and also the box where Victor hide his drugs were empty , he wanted to die , literally

-Victor why you doing this? Why be soo weak , go after her , tell her that you love her , fight for her
-I did a such romantic thing and she breaks up with me , saying she cant live like this SHE CANT LIVE LIKE THIS?? SHE WANTS A NORMAL BOYFRIEND and im not….
-No need to do this-

Felix did a wrong thing but since he was desperate , he got closer Victor and pushed him inside the house and hugged his son tight and with tears in his eyes he screamed

-YOU WONT LEAVE ME , YOU ARE MY ONLY SON AND YOU WONT LEAVE ME- He touched Victor hair- I will help you son , kill yourself wont help because than theres no point , life is about trying and trying and if doesn’t work we must to try again

Victor got quiet , he couldn’t stop crying , he was depressed without Layla
Its like he wanted to be the perfect boyfriend but he couldn’t , he just couldn’t …

-I will take you the hospital- Felix said
-Noo don’t- Victor said
-You can have a overdose
-I wont , I’m just kinda drunk …I never took the pills , I threw them of the window
-Oh ok then good , soo look , I will call her and maybe she can come- Felix said
-No….dont…she want that way so she will have it- Victor got up and went to the bathroom to wash his face

The atmosphere at Victor's house was awful and wouldn’t be different for Layla
She was sad , crying so much in the shower while the water hit her soft skin
Layla tears got mixed with the shower water but she still could taste the salt of her tears…she didn’t want to break but after that night how could she still be with Victor?
Layla always dreamed about dating the perfect guy , who would treat her as she deserved and that’s wasn’t happening to her

She left the shower and went straight away to her bedroom. The first thing she did was to check her phone to see if Victor texted her or anything but nothing , no one sent her any messages…
Layla needed a friend more than ever in that moment , someone who could tell her that she did the right choice , therefore , did Layla made the right choice?


Meanwhile

Adrian was at home , he was so tired , that day has been so stressing when his brother William come in his room

-Can I come in?- William asked
-Sure- Adrian said and William came in , closed the door and sat on Adrian’s bed
-Whats up?
-I’m playing a game- Adrian said
-Oh ok  thanks for today
-I did nothing , I’m sure you would do the same for me- Adrian said and William heart started to hurt because he knew that he wouldn’t do the same , he was jealous of Adrian
-Yeah sure- he lied- but anyways , I think I kinda helped you
-Did you? How?- Adrian asked
-While Fighting with Layla , I told her about your crush on her- William said smiling
-Crush?- Adrian heart started to race
-Yeah , I said you were crazy for her and stuff haha she got surprised I think- William said
-How dare you- Adrian got mad- how dare you tell her that???
-Only the truth , why hide?
-Because I’m a loser , she wont ever like me and you go and tell her? Its about me that we are talking about not you- Adrian got sad
-Too late haha , I’m sure she will flirt with you now and then you will thank your amazing bro-
-Amazing bro? you are the worst brother ever- Adrian gave him the look –can you please leave me alone?
-Ahhh- William rolled his eyes-OK , good night- William said and Adrian never replied

Adrian wanted to tell Layla how much he loved her and how much he adored everything about her but now how could he express this feeling?

'I've planned to tell Layla how i feel and everything but now i will always deny about liking her...i'm so ashamed'

Was when Adrian got a text on his phone

‘Adrian , please , I need to speak with someone , can you come online? :)’

Layla texted Adrian….

Adrian got really shocked



'I was thinking about her and she text me? i bet she will ask me if i like her because of my stupid brother big mouth...argh i will lie , yes i will , i wont admit it and i will blame the alchool'

Adrian got his computer and came online on the chat thing...


Layla says : Hey Adrian :)
Adrian says : Hello are you ok?
Layla says : not really , i think i will call you
Adrian says : Oh ok can call

Adrian thought ' oh shit , she will kick my ass .....'

So after a couple of minutes , Layla called

-Hello?-
-Hi Layla , soo whats going on?- Adrian asked her
-I just broke up with Victor and i'm kinda drunk- she said with a sad voice-so i'm not ok

Adrian got happy because , finally she would be single but at the same time he was feeling sorry for her , she sounded so miserable

-Damn why?- he asked
-I dont know , your words kinda touched me , i was thinking why will i date someone like him? i always get in trouble because of him and he uses drugs and etc and today i got hitting on my lip...like damnnnn what i'm doing with myself being near him?
-Yeah but do you think this was the right choice, of breaking up? i mean , do you love him?
-I dont know , i think i do but he isnt worth- Layla said
-Yeah maybe , or maybe not

Adrian never knew what to tell Layla , he wanted to help but he knew that he couldnt

-Look , i know you are sad and i think you wish Victor was different but give yourself time , be with someone isnt everything in life , you can have fun being single- he said
-I know but i'm not this type of girl , i love to have someone with me , giving me attention and taking care of me you know? but where will i find a guy who can love me?

The conversation wouldnt end anytime soon
Layla was telling Adrian how much she felt about everything , not only Victor,  its like she could trust him like no one else, Adrian looked at the clock and said:

-I understand everything that you told me
-I knew you would understand Adrian...it seems you understand me more than myself
-I dont know , but its like i can feel your pain , its seems you are desperate inside 
-I'm
-Yeah but i'm here for you
-Aww Adrian

Layla never said anything but she started to cry

-Wow we are talking over 2 hours- he said
-Seriously??-
-Well I suppose I will let you go we have school tomorrow-Layla said
-Yeah sure-
-Thanks for listening-Layla said
-Your welcome-
-Byee nerd-Layla joked
-Damnn byee-Adrian laughed and Layla hung up

Adrian was really happy that Layla came to him first
So Adrian laid down on his bed feeling like a hero , he gave Layla good advices and it seems that she loved but he forgot about one thing about William telling Layla about Adrians crush on her and she never said anything so he thought

'i think she forgot too or didnt she? i think i will talk to her tomorrow and say that was a joke or i just say it was true ....what should i do?'
Adrian thought 'just leave it I bet she has  things in her mind'

Then he decided to go to sleep cause was really late and he been out clubbing on a school night  he felt so rebellious



Meanwhile



Layla always went into bed ,she was kinda crying. She didn't know if she made the right choice. Victor was going through alot .

Well a couple of hours past and it was time to wake up for school's
Layla was extremely dead she never really slept much, she wanted to stay in bed all day , eating ice cream and watching movies but she couldnt , the first class would be of Mrs Jones and she didnt want trouble , so she got ready and went to school

Victor always gave her rides in the morning and that exactly day , it was raining more than ever and was really cold, she missed bus, she was all wet , feeling extremly unlucky

So when Layla came to the school she found Chloe

-Hey Chloe- she said
-Oh hi- Chloe said
-Im all wet , i lost the bus and i had to come school by walking- Layla said
-Uncool uh? well excuse me i need to find Sara
-Why you need to find Sara?- Layla asked kinda confused , Chloe never gave her attention
-To hang out- Chloe said
-Hang out with me duuh- Layla said trying to dry her stuff
-Well but she is waiting so
-Oh ok- Layla noticed that Chloe didnt want to be near Layla , which was very weird , since at the night club they were fine - we speak later than
-Alright

Layla got annoyed with Chloe, she could of offered for her to hang out
Maybe Chloe was close to just go into nightclubs and to get boys , Layla felt so lonely

So Layla went to her class and this time , for a weird reason Chloe wasnt there,  Mrs Jones came in the class room and no sign of Chloe
Adrian was there, Layla waved to him and he waved back

-Good morning-The teacher said - today i want you guys to make groups of 4 because we will study this article about brazilian ants

Layla rolled her eyes thinking ' why i woke up soooo early to study this???'

Adrian looked at Nathan and said :



-Dude lets make a group with her , Chloe isnt here so she wont be alone-Adrian said
-Sure Robin Wood- Nathan said and Adrian gave him the look

When they sat together , Layla wasnt even paying attention , its like her head was in somewhere else place

-So i will read the article and you guys can make notes- Adrian said
-Right- Nathan said
-Ok , so the brazilian ants also known formigas , are really powerfull , since some has poisson and can kill human being...'- Adrian read
-Why we are studying ants? - Nathan asked - i bet this teacher knows nothing and she googled like ' smart articles' and got the first one
-Probably-Adrian laughed and then he looked at Layla who was looking to her phone - whats wrong Layla?
-Oh nothing , so you guys read the thing? i cant be bothered to do this , to be honest i wanna go home- she said
-We just came- Nathan wanted to be uncool
-Yeah i know- she said

Victor was also part of that class and he wasnt there

-I wonder where Victor is- Layla said
-Maybe you should ask him?- Adrian said
-Nah , i thought about asking Chloe but she got weird with me
-Did she? i heard she is having some problems- Nathan said
-What is?
-i dont know , i will try to find out- Nathan said
-Guys we should do the notes , soon the teacher will start the class- Adrian said
-Ahh give to me , i know everything about ants- Layla said
-Serious???- Adrian asked
-Nah- she laughed and Adrian laughed too

In the middle of the class Victor come in and everybody looked, when Layla saw him its like her heart got cold ,he was pale , very pale, he went to speak with the teacher and he gave her a paper

-Mrs Jones , i went to the doctor and i'm not ok so i wil have to be off for a couple of days
-Oh ok Victor , get better soon, you shouldnt of came here if you were that sick but its ok , go home and rest

Victor were glad that the teacher would allow him to miss school for the whole week but when he looked around he saw Layla sat next to Adrian , he went really mad
-Hmmm thinking better , im here now so I will stay-Victor said
-Ok you can work with that group over there-the teacher pointed at a group of girls

Layla looked down in shame she didn't want to see Victor

-Gurl why you never said hi to your man-Nathan asked
-Damn dude-Adrian said
-What? -
-We broke-Layla said
-Omg yous broke?????????-Nathan said kinda loud and everyone looked

People never knew that this happened, Layla looked over to Victor and he was looking at her

-Nathan why talk so loud-Layla whispered
-Damn sorry-


Adrian started to smile randomly looking at Layla
