Chapter 23 : Love Birds

When Adrian came home , Nathan and him went to his room , Nathan was crazy to watch his Justin Green Tour DVD therefore , Adrian never cared about anything , he was extremely worried about Layla. Whoever did that and accused her probably hated her  but in Adrian’s head he couldn’t understand why people would hate Layla , someone so sweet and beautiful like her…



-Adrian??- Nathan said
-Yeah
-What you thinking at? It seems you aren’t even here – Nathan sat on Adrian’s bed
-Hmmm if I tell you , promise me you won’t kick me? – Adrian asked his friend
-Sure tell me…
-Im thinking about Layla
-Ahhhh HERE WE GO AGAIN- Nathan said
-Noooooooooooo , I mean , who did that? Who tried to acuse her? That was sooo lame
-I know I wish i knew who did that you know? Because I like to help people- Nathan said
-Same…- Adrian got up and looked through the window
Adrian started to think about what he could do to help Laylaa…
-Wait a minute , the headmaster said someone sent an email to him right? – Adrian said
-Yeah it seems , why?- Nathan asked
-Man , I got an idea….oh my God …I think we can help Layla- Adrian started to smile
-How?- Nathan asked
-Like , I got a programme on my pc that we could get all the videos from the cameras , maybe who did that never got the videos you know? At school have soo many cameras , maybe the camera recorded who did that
-Hmmm is a nice idea , so we get the videos and we will see who wrote on the black board?
-Exactly- Adrian said
-Oh that’s cool but you forgot one detail hun- Nathan said
-What is? – Adrian said excited
-WE ARENT NO FRICKEN SHERLOCK HOLMES YOU IDIOT
-Ahhhhh I knew you wouldn’t agree
-Ehhh I agree yeah totally whoppppp go go Layla but I won’t be part of this crazy plan no way
-Ahhhhh come on , let’s help her , you even told me you like to  help people-Adrian did a puppy face
-I do I do but the thing is , I won’t go at school to steal videos , we will get in trouble
-We can go at night
-Ahhh Adrian I don’t want , really , if you want to stop to be my friend go ahead but I won’t help you
-Ok- Adrian looked at Nathan – I will do it , even if I go alone
-You are stupid , she don’t even notice you- Nathan said
-That doesn’t stop me to try to help her…- Adrian left the room sad


Nathan realized that the feelings that Adrian had for Layla wasn’t like just a crush , was something deeper.
Adrian actually had feelings for that girl and he would do anything to help her , even go to hell if he needed..

Layla was with Victor at his house , they were sat on the sofa in the living room.
Victor was laid on Layla’s lap and she was touching his hair


-You are so adorable- she was smiling
-Aw you more- he was touching her face
-Like Im lucky for having such a strong and popular boyfriend- Layla said – but too bad he is a pImp

-How many girlfriend you ever had?- she smiled
-Ahhhh unfair

-Shit Layla , you so hot- he sat next to her now – I thought you had more boyfriends

Victor got her on his lap and started to kiss.


The story about school and Angela never made Layla even cry , she was a strong girl but she was stronger now having Victor by her side. When he was near her she felt like nothing could go wrong

Nathan went to find Adrian in his house and Adrian was in the kitchen drinking a cup of soda.


-Im in…- Nathan said
-Huh?
-Like , you are all boring and stuff and if you want to do something so huge like this go at school at night and get the videos and stuff , you want to help Layla…you must to like her loads and I won’t leave you alone in this…
-Are you serious?- Adrian asked without believe it
-Yeah sadly Im , I hope I don’t regret it
-Oh my God thanks so much – Adrian hugged Nathan tight – thanks Nathan
Nathan felt bad for letting Adrian do everything by himself so he joined the plan hoping that everything would end fine.
-So when do you think we could do the plan? And how??
-Tonight- Adrian said
-Tonight? Dude come on
-Like tonight is the best day
-Ok we should tell Layla – Nathan said
-Nooooo why?- Adrian asked
-Like we are helping her , we will be heroooos
-No , not yet , we will tell her when our work be done
-Ok then smart pants – Nathan smiled – so tell me exactly your plan


Adrian thought about everything really fast , he knew every single thing that they should do , nothing could go wrong unless they were unlucky…

Victor and Layla were kissing on his sofa when Paul , his future step-father came in holding many bottles of beer.


-Ohhh hey look the love birds- he winked
-Oh you- Victor said
-Not happy to see me buddy? I got some beers come get one- Paul said
-I don’t want anything from you-Victor said – Layla I think we should go
-Ok , just let me get my bag in your room- Layla went upstairs to get her bag


Paul looked at Victor and started to laugh

-You laughing at me?- Victor asked
-No- Paul said
-Then what? – Victor asked
-I bet you already banged her haha , good job son
-Im not your son- Victor said with angry
-Hahaha ok , hmmm is she easy like your mother?


When Paul said , Victor who was trying to control himself and not hit him came closer and raised his arm , he was going to punch him on the face when Layla came back


-Hit me….is that what you want to do uh? Break my teeth , make me bleed , do it now- Paul said – you made only because me and your mother want to be happy together , good job , you aren’t selfish , not at all
Victor looked at Paul as if he was the worse man of the planet
-Victor , let’s go- Layla touched his arm
-Ok…- Victor never took his eyes of Paul
-Come on baby – Layla pushed him- bye Paul
-Bye Layla – Paul said and touched his tummy
Victor went outside and started to kick everything that he saw in front of him
-SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT- he keep saying
-Victor??
-I hate this man so much , why he is so mean Layla? Why he is so disgusting?
-Calm down baby- Layla hugged Victor tight


It was getting dark and Layla parents were getting worried about her


Her dad tried to call her…and he said with a sad voice

-Layla don’t pick up- he said
-Try again Uncle- Diego , her cousin were at their house
-I think she don’t want to speak with us – her dad said
-I don’t blame her , I think she feel ashamed or anything…- Diego was one of few people who actually could understand Layla
-Maybe , let’s wait for  her more , maybe she is coming home…


Layla never wanted to come back home and now she actually didn’t want at all because her boyfriend was so depressed over Paul


-Baby don’t be like that please? I hate to see you sad
-I won’t allow him to touch my mom again- Victor said – I won’t allow
-We should go , like but where?
-No Layla , you know , I think I will take you home and then go out and meet my friends- he said
-Huh? Meet friends?
-Yeah to drink and stuff , I need to relax
-But I want to spend tIme with you baby- Layla hugged him
-Same but we can’t stay all the tIme together , go home and stay with your family ok? We meet tomorrow
-Oh….ok then- Layla said


Layla never liked about what Victor did , why he would want to spend tIme with his friends when he had his girlfriend to give him all the attention of the world? Why drink If Layla kisses could easily change his mood?
He parked the car in front of her house.


-Sorry for not staying with you but like I need tIme for myself and to stay with friends , I hope you understand – Victor said
-I do – Layla said but lied
-Ok good , I call you in the morning princess , good night
-Night – Layla kissed his cheek and left the car.
Victor drove straight away and now Layla was all by herself to speak with her parents and tell them everything…
She came home and her parents and family were in the living room all worried about her
-Layla- her dad shouted – where have you been?
-Look I don’t want to talk , Im tired , Im stressed , leave me alone- Layla started to break down , she cried and went to her bedroom


It was soo much pressure that she couldn’t take it….



Meanwhile

It was very late already , Nathan and Adrian were ready to get in the school and try to prove who did such a bad thing against Layla but before getting inside the school Nathan said

-Damn dude , I think we shouldn’t do this
-Whyy???- Adrian said
-Because I don’t think we will help her doing this….im sorry I can’t do this
-Ahhh don’t chicken out now- Adrian said
-Im done- Nathan went home and left Adrian by himself

Adrian still had the option of getting in the school alone
Would he do that???
