Chapter 24 : Need Some Fresh Air

Adrian started to think about it , if he still should do it , maybe he was making too much effort for what? For Layla give him sympathy? Whatever it was he knew that Layla would be probably really glad to know that he helped her but he didn’t want only her to be glad , he want her ….Nathan was right , go inside of the school and take that risk was too much but Adrian could do something else , he had another idea to save his lover life.




Next day



When they came to school the headmaster were walking in the corridor waiting for Layla and when he saw her there he said:

-Look , I decided to not do it anything against you
-Why?
-I received another email and there someone said that you wouldn’t do that and perhaps this was a trap for you and I need to investigate so for now , I let you free but the next tIme you can be sure I will go after you
-It wasn’t me , I promise- she said
-Good- he said
-So who sent you the email?
-I can’t say, but the person wrote their name and that’s made me sure that wasn’t you , the person took the risk to defend you , that’s brave , have a good class- the headmaster walked away

Layla got Impressed to know that someone tried to defended her , someone believed her but who? She was asking herself
She was wondering if was Victor…she got so happy.

My Name is Adrian and Im in the same class as Layla Grey
I saw the thing on the black board and the comments about her doing all this
But I want to tell you that I can’t believe Layla Grey did such a thing
I know her and I trust her
I think maybe someone did this against her
To blame her
Every story has 2 sides and sadly , you mister only heard one
Of an email that the person never even had the courage to tell you who they were
Anyways , Im pretty sure It wasn’t Layla
I think this was a trap

Layla was at her locker sorting out her hair and makeup thinking ‘damn today isn’t guna be a good day but at least the headmaster left me alone’
Then someone closed her locker


-I waited 30mins for you today-Victor said mad
-Well I didn't know if you were coming for me -Layla said and opened her locker again
-I always come for you-
-I don’t know you went out last night you might of been dead-
-How come you talk to me like that?- Victor said
-Normal- she looked at him
-I don’t like that Layla- he said and grabbed her arm - you can’t treat me like shit
-Let me go- she said pushing him

Some people were looking at them when Jason came

-What’s happening?- Jason asked
-Nothing - Victor tried to act normal - just talking - he smiled
-You ok Layla?- Jason asked
-Yeah i just need some fresh air- Layla got her books and walked away

Layla realized that Victor wasn’t the one who sent the email to the headmaster , but she was feeling weird , she felt like she shouldn’t be near him for the couple of hours….



Victor looked at her walking away from him and said:

-Layla is acting different , she wasn’t like that-
-Dude , give her some space - Jason said - you want me to talk to her?
-What’s the point? no need- Victor said - well i will go to talk to Jonas
Victor walked away , he wanted to think about everything besides Layla
Jason went after Layla , to see if she was ok
Whilst this was happening Adrian and Nathan where at his locker and heard everything
-Damn that girl has guts-Nathan said
-Yeah she agrues with Angela and Victor-Adrian smiled
-Yeah crazy chic by the way you smell nice new after shave?-Nathan winked
-Honey are you flirting with me-Adrian winked back and they both laughed
-Dude you are back to normal now which is amazingggggg- Nathan said
-Yeah I don’t want to be miserable all the time-



Meanwhile

Jason went outside and saw Layla talking to some girls
-Hey Layla can I talk to you? -Jason said
-Uh sure bye girls-Layla said and walked away
-They are guna get it on-one of the girls giggled
-I noticed that Victor were like grabbing your arm , that’s weird, you guys were arguing right?
-Well to be honest i don’t even know , he is acting different but i think he is like that right?
-Well maybe , if you need me just call ok? - Jason said
-Aw thanks but i think i don’t need anyone right now
-Yeh i know but like school just started and many shit already happened- Jason said
-Yeah my luck uh?
-Haha kinda , so let’s get some drink or anything? i miss talking to you- Jason smiled
-Sure - she smiled back


Jason was one of those people who Layla loved to spend tIme but she never had much chance for that since Victor was a jealous guy so to avoid problems Layla tried to not hang out much with his friends but that day she never cared , she wanted to spend some tIme with Jason



Meanwhile

Adrian and Nathan sat with his other friends ,Maya , Jenny and Pablo

-Guys we should go out after school anytIme uh?- Pablo said
-Yeah we should , like i love to spend tIme with you guys - Maya said smiling
-Yeah but where we could go?- Adrian asked
-Well maybe the movies? - Jenny suggested - i heard about that movie Chuck is on 3-D  , would be amazing see all the blood and people getting killed by the murder toy hahahaha
no one laughed just Jenny , she was the gothic of the group
-Are you crazy guuuurl?- Nathan said- we should watch a comedy moviee
-Yeah comedy- Pablo said
-So let’s go to the movies today after school?- Maya suggested
-YES - Nathan loved the idea
-Hmm guys we got homework but i think we can go- Adrian said
Nathan got shocked , he thought Adrian wouldnt ever agree about going to watch the movie but he did , he knew that the conversation that they had in the other day had some effect
-Alright then guys we will go to the movies after school- Nathan smiled
Chloe who were holding her x-burger heard them speaking
-Hey guys - she smiled - sorry if Im being nosey but are you guys going to the movies?
-Yeah why?- Nathan  said
-Ohhh because i was thinking about to go too but i never had anyone who would join me....so like....could i go with you guys??- Chloe asked

Maya and Jenny looked at each other and it seems they were speaking with their eyes , none of them liked Chloe only for the fact of Chloe being Blonde , have blue eyes and walk with the popular people

-Sure - Nathan said smiling- meet us in front of school alright?
-Aww thanks so much guys

Chloe went to find Layla but Layla wasn’t in anywhere , she was still talking to Jason

-Layla you should hang out more with your friends , don’t let Victor take all your tIme - Jason said
-Hmm it’s weird you say that , it seems you don’t like him..-
-I do like he is one of my best friends but i don’t know , we always should keep one eye shut and the other opened on people....
-What you mean?
-You can’t trust 100% - Jason said and looked down
-something happened? like if he did anything i want to know- Layla touched Jason arm
-Nothing happened , don’t worry- Jason lied
-Oh ok - she smiled - nice milkshake uh
-Yeah it’s nice so you coming to the party tonight? -
-Who’s?- Layla asked
-Just one of our mates Mike Im sure he will let you come-Jason smiled
-Oh cool can I bring Chloe?-she smiled
-Yeah of course-
Victor was sat on the other side of the room with Jonas and he saw Layla and Jason sat together
-Damn I want to kick him-Victor said
-Who why?-
-Jason sat with my girl he wants her I know it-
-Don’t be stupid he isn’t like that- he said
-Why are their laughing damn Im going over there now- Victor got up and went over to them

Victor walked near them and said


-Why you guys laughing so much?
-Nothing broo , i just told Layla about when we were kids that’s it , well i need to talk to my mate before the break ends, see you around Layla- Jason smiled
-Bye Jason , thanks for everything
-You welcome - Jason walked away and Victor sat next to Layla , he started to look at her
-what?- she asked to Victor
-Nothing , look Im sorry for being rude before , i shouldn’t of grabbed your arm , i was rude- he said
-Kinda- she looked at hIm
-Yeah so you forgive me?- he touched her face - please?
-Hmmm i don’t know - Layla said
-well , if you forgive me i promise you i will take you to the mall again- he said
-Oh my God really?- Layla said
-Yeah promise

Layla rolled her eyes

-I will see you after class- she got her bag
-Why you being so cold towards me?-
-Like I forgive you for early but you where kinda rude now with Jason can’t I laugh with him?- she stood up
-Well your my girl not his-
-Yah but Im not guna let you choose who I talk to so uncool-Layla said and stood up
-Aggh Im not Im sorry I don’t want to argue- Victor got up too some how he felt weak when Layla kicked him
-Okay okay god don’t look at me like that-Layla said and Victor smiled and hugged her
-We are in class together now anyways so you would of have to forgive me-he smiled


Meanwhile

Nathan and Adrian where walking to their class

-Wow I can’t believe Chloe wants to come with us-Nathan said
-Me either maybe Layla will come too-Adrian smiled
-Well don’t raise you hopes that high- Nathan and Adrian both walked into their class


Adrian sat on the empty desk , the one in front of the teacher and Nathan sat behind him


Adrian hated to sit so close to the teachers but that day he never had a choice

While the teacher were trying to explain this chemistry theory some people in the back keep talking and laughing the teacher got annoyed and said

-You- he pointed at Victor - why you talking soo much? like isn’t enough to do the year again?
-Sorry teacher , i already know everything - Victor said
-Oh really?
-Of course i do - he smiled and Layla laughed
-So come here and explain to the whole class about borr theory
-Yeah teacher you know , it’s an easy theory but i think you explaining wrong
-Excuse me????- the teacher said
-You teach us wrong and i refuse to stay here - Victor said
-Victor...don’t make me loose my mind- she said
-It was the same story last year , you taught students wrong things and that’s why i failed - Victor said and the whole class started to laugh

He was making the teacher embarrassed

Adrian thought ‘damn so rude’

-Well you failed cause you won’t shut up-the teacher got mad
-God calm down we are all guna fail if you don’t shut up and teach the lesson-Layla said and Victor started to laugh along with everything else and he put his arm around her
-Don’t think you’ve been in enough trouble this week missy why don’t you be quiet and stop tryna Impress Victor-she said
-Nah she’s already Impressed me a lot miss-Victor joked and winked to Layla

Adrian was getting bored of this now they were totally wasting his time

He looked at Nathan and rolled eyes

To try to forget Layla , Adrian put in his head that she was really mean so like that he wouldn’t suffer so much and then he thought and if i try to defend the teacher?


-I think you should be quiet Victor , some people here actually wants to learn- Adrian said
-Ohhhhh Im sorry , the geek population in our class has feelings- Victor said
-Enough- the teacher said - if you guys don’t want to watch the lesson then please go away , i won’t put any mark on the paper , just go , because as Adrian said some people here wants to learn
-You kicking us out of the class?- Layla asked
-Well let’s say that Im inviting you guys to go- the teacher said
-Good job geek- Victor said while holding his bag
-Yeah , stupid guy- Layla got her stuff and left the class

Before leaving the class , Victor looked at Adrian and touched his shoulder

-Thanks i won’t forget that- he whispered on Adrian's ear
